- Music-Sounds like child music, music box, bit creepy, repeated lyrics, dreaming, starts quite.
- Perspective- Other mother P.O.V-ne see from her, know its her by the needle hands.
- Use of close up shot-makes audience focus on doll not on the creator.
- Lighting and colour-The background is dark, mixed with green and the lighting looks old, which makes the mood feel more scary.
- Dim, dark, green, faded, sets the mood/atmosphere that its old, abandoned, unappealing and run down. The graphics makes the movie look old.
Camera shots and angles:
- Close up
- Zoomed in
- High angle
- Low angle
- Horizontal angle
- Music-Happy, gentle, harmony, chanting, song sung by children, lyrics in made up language, make calm happy atmosphere, scary, speeding up, more volume, and more minor
- The graphics-Old, abandon.
- The settings-
- Sassy, moody, angry, Stubborn, bright colours-blue hear, yellow coat and boots.
- Main character-makes us focus, shows shes different from others in the real world.
Colour/lighting-Her yellow jacket makes the lighting bright, her blue hair makes the colour bright as well, her dads rooms lighting and colour makes the house, dark, boring, blend, tinted, makes the real house feel depressing, old crusty, and cold, not a place Caroline wants to be......
Real parents- Don´t pay attention to Caroline, workaholics, don´t have to for Caroline, not happy, tired, and depressed.
- Sound-Happy, piano playing, repeated lyrics
- Camera angle-like their being spied on, something unexpected about to happen
- Background-Bright, a familiar shape, somewhere interesting.
The other mother and other father-
- Mum cooks food and pays more attention to Caroline, Dad likes to play piano and talks more to Caroline, than the other dad. The other mum, and dad have buttons on their eyes, their, fun, achieve, show, show Caroline attention.
- Music-Bells playing, spooky, sneaky hint, matches, slow to medium pace, minor, quite.
Colour and lighting-Bright, vibrant, warm, welcoming-makes it feel inviting and safe, Caroline does´t standout anymore.
