The beetles - yellow submarine

Who are the Beatles? -

The Beatles were an English rock band that was formed in Liverpool in 1960. The band was regarded as the most influential and of all time. The four original four Beatles were John, Paul, George and Ringo. The Beatles were also a band that became arguably the most successful act of the 20th century. They contributed to music, film, literature, art, and fashion, made a continuous impact on popular culture and the lifestyle of several generations.

 The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

What the song is about -
This song was officially made for children's, but was titled 'Yellow Submarine'. The Beatles mainly made this a title, because they thought about about children's having fun in a yellow submarine, and where all the children's friends would be with a band. Basically this song was all about the children having fun on a yellow submarine with a band - The Beatles, and sailing towards the sun where they found the 'sea of green'= money.

The difference between this song and the music from the 1940s -
The Yellow Submarine song, was more of a children's music, or a pop song, well the Music during the 1940s was built around the jazz and big band styles that were popular.

The Yellow Submarine (Lyrics)
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
And our friends are all aboard
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
(Full speed ahead Mr. Parker, full speed ahead
Full speed ahead it is, Sergeant
Action station, action station
Aye, aye, sir, fire
Captain, captain)
As we live a life of ease
Everyone
