Hurumanu/Decomposition

Aim: To learn about the rate that different materials decompose. 

Hypothesis: I think that bread will decompose first by feeding on the sugars and carbohydrates of bread, the spores of mold can get the energy to reproduce by mitosis

Materials:

1. Paper  
2.   Banana
3.   Test tubes
4.   Styron oam
5.   Bread
6.   Water
7.     Test tube rack

Steps:  

1.   Get a test tube rack
2. Put the test tubes into the rack
3.   Put the banana into one of the tubes
4.   Put the paper into the tubes
5.   Put the bread into the tubes
6.  Test the tubes

Paper	White		The paper is still the same.
Styrophone cup	White		The Styrophone is still the same/halfway.
Bread	Same		The bread is placed at the top of the rack.
