Resiliency/health

I have chosen Resiliency for my topic, to explain to you about Resiliency.

What is Resiliency?

Resiliency, is someone or something that bounces back into shape, or recovers real quick. An example of resilient, is something, or someone being stretched and returning back to its own normal size. Another example could be, a person being sick, and rapidly becoming healthy.

How you know your showing, resiliency, is for an example, if you are likely to feel stressed out, that will mean you are not controlling your life balance, which can cause more stress to you, but resiliency, is all about bouncing back to the right side of your health. So when your life balance is not good, you could start to control your life balance, which will lead up to fixing your life balance, then your life balance will begin once again to be a straight line which is a good sign of your life balance. This is how you know you've shown and represented resilience by beginning with a good life, then going through bad things, then bouncing straight back to good things.

Which one of these Celebrities demonstrate Resilience r

Research:“Neve give up.” It’s probably one of the most cliché phrases you’ll hear as you’re building your career. But there’s a reason these sayings are clichés you never know when success really does lie around the next corner.

Stress/Health

L.O I would like to know how stress affects our Mental health wellbeing, and how to manage it.

  1. I have chosen stress for my topic

What is stress?
Stress is what you feel when you are very worried or uncomfortable about an issue that has happened. The more worried you get, the more down your body feels. Stress can also change your emotions, as in feeling, Angry, upset, frustrated, scared, and afraid, which can give you stomach aches and headaches.

When you're stressed, you may not feel like sleeping or eating, or you may sleep and eat too much. Also if stress is affecting you, you could be having trouble paying attention in school/class. Also, stress can affect your memories, so you might not remember anything that happened in the past.

What causes stress?
A huge amount of things can cause stress to a kid's life, and there can be two sides of stress. One side is the good stress, and the opposite side is bad stress. Good/Normal stress can be when you are in a competition and you are trying too hard and start to sweat and get tired, which will cause a Normal stress, and those are the kinds of stress that can help get things done.

But bad stress happens if you keep stressing over time. Maybe; you could be having big issues with your family, and your other family members are sick, and the others are fighting and arguing, or if you are going through a lot of bad issues every time, everyday, that makes you feel a bit sad, angry and frustrated.Usually, people start to feel sick, and have had enough of the stress pain and start to think, they are no one, they think they don’t exist anymore, and finally, they begin to think they don’t want live anymore, so they also begin to commit suicide, which means, they begin to not want to live anymore, and kill themselves. These kinds of bad stresses and issues are usually used on people who get bullied, people who get cyber bullied, and people who have too many things to do in life, which then they give up and give up with life.

If you think you are going through stress, the best way to sort it out, by talking with an adult your know and close to, but a better way to fix this horrible problem is just by not thinking about it, or if your getting bullied, ignore it and be the better person you are by stepping away from it, because if you cause violence, you could get into ig trouble, which can cause more stress for you. If you would like to talk to someone, please ring this helpline - 131114

How do you manage stress?

The best way to keep stress away is to have a balanced life. That means making good decisions about how to spend your time. If you're only dealing with school stuff and have no time to play, you can get stressed. Make sure you keep yourself in mind: Sleep, exercise, leisure/something fun to do, and food. MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS!!

The Black banana was one of the heaviest bananas in the world. It was now 1934 and the banana started to get old and damaged. Before it was damaged, the spooky banana was transformed into a huge monster that had shocked the world. The banana done one jump and it damaged the world's ground.

Hornby Athletics Day

Yesterday, Hornby High had athletics day. It was a good day, the sun was shining and people were having fun participating in the events.

I participated in discus and sprints. In my opinion, I thought I went really well and was committed to discus. I felt excited before I went up for discus, then after I had threw the discus, I felt amazed on how far I threw the discus.

When I went up for sprints, I felt about nervous because people were watching and I was not really that fast, but then I thought about God and said to myself, "Don't worry, it doesn't matter what people think just do it".

I demonstrated the HHS CARR values by being showing commitment by giving the events my best. Also I have been encouraging my friends and others well them never giving up on their events. Secondly I achieved something which was throwing the discus further than I threw it last year.

I was proud of myself for competing in some events that Im not really good at.

Next time, its athletics day, I will try even more harder and maybe enter into to competitive.

My results:
High jump:1.5 Metre
Long jump 3.5 Metre
1500: 9 minutes
50 metre: 9.5 sec
Discus: 21.3 metres
