My DLO.

This week me and my maths group have been working on how to solve a problem. The problem I was trying to solve was person who had to mow 1/4 of 92 people's houses.

The problem was, that a person had to mow 92 houses down the street. 1/4 of them have asked him to  mow their lawn . He had to pay his mum 2.50 for the lawn mower per hour. A tank of petrol would cost him 12$. The petrol only last for 6 hours. While he mows people's lawn he gets paid 15$ per hour. The question is, that if he gets paid 15$ per hour how much profit will he make. The answer was 23 because half 92=46 then half 46 equals 23. So the guy gets paid 23$.

Conclusion: I have learned that half of 92 = 46 and half of 46 equals 23 that is how the kid got 23$.

100 word challenge.

There was a kid called Lealiifano. Lealiifano was from Samoa. Lealiifano had two sisters and four brothers. All of the brothers and sisters slept together.

One night, Lealiifano had to sleep by himself and started to hear strange noises from the back. He went outside to have a look. He could see something moving. BOOO!, the mouse said.

Lealiifano was happy that there was no ghost or anything at the backyard, but, he heard another noise. There were to many palm trees he couldn’t see anything. Something big was walking near him, then it was quite, then BOOM! Lealiifano was gone.

Dmic-Maths.

Kiowa my name is Aisa and today me and my class were doing maths. We had to solve out a Maths Dmic.

Before we started our Dmic maths we spilted into groups of 3.

The Dmic was about a t-shirt that cost 30$ for a six letter top, and 38$ for a ten letter top.The most important question was how much would it be for a plain top. In my opinion it was 25$ because split 5 from a ten letter top which equals 5$. And the 6 letter top cost 12$ because 6t6=-12.

Today I have learn't how to count money and how to sell t-shirts in real life.
