Positive thoughts and self-talk/Health/Staying mentally healthy

Positive thoughts and self-talk

Today I will be explaining what “Positive thoughts and self-talk” is. Positive thoughts are when you think about something positive about yourself, and self-talk is where you encourage yourself, or say something positive about yourself. For example, you could probably say something to yourself like “I can do it!’, ‘I’m good enough!’, ‘If I want to, I can.”These positive words are usually used at a game or something challenging.

Meaning:
Positive thoughts and self-talk makes you feel good about yourself, and things that are going on in your life. Self-talking, and having positive thoughts about yourself, can increase your self-confidence. Self-talking means, talking to yourself, but talking about positive things about yourself. Another way of self-talking is, encouraging yourself.

One way of encouraging yourself, could be by letting yourself know that you still exist.

Positive thoughts mean, good thoughts about yourself. Maybe you could think about something nice that has happened to you in life, or if not, you can just make up something positive about yourself. And remember, positive means a good sign, and Negative is no good sign.

Negative thoughts are something, way different from positive thoughts. Negative thoughts are bad thoughts. Negative thoughts can make you scared and feel a bit stressed, and lose your confidence. You may feel no one is there for you, no one is listening to you, and you may feel like you don’t exist anymore, which can lead up to depression. That is why, you need to think positive about yourself and ignore the hate around the world, and live your life.

Positive thoughts and self-talk, can also engage with your Well being. Thinking more positively, can help your mental and emotional health, and physical health by having lower stress levels, lower depression levels, and having a healthier life, and better coping skills in stress and difficult situations.
